Are there any special effects throughout the Studio Tour?
Throughout the Studio Tour, special effects lighting and haze is used in some of the immersive elements of the Studio Tour. This is created using a water-based fluid that generates smoke and along with lighting, creates a cloud-like effect. If you are unsure or would like to avoid these areas, please let a member of staff know upon arrival and they will assist you.

How long is my visit expected to last?
The average visit to the Studio Tour lasts approximately three and a half hours, although there is no limit imposed on your time at the attraction.

What can I expect from the Studio Tour?
The Studio Tour offers visitors a unique experience to explore two soundstages and a backlot filled with original sets, animatronic creatures and breathtaking special effects. Along the way, you’ll enjoy interactive activities such as the opportunity to ‘fly’ a broomstick like a member of the cast and there’s also the chance to purchase a frothy cup of Butterbeer! Will my bag be checked when I visit?
For the safety of the public and the protection of the tour, visitors may be subjected to a bag and/or personal search on entry. Suitcases and large bags will be subject to our baggage scanners. Please note, photography is not permitted in this area.
Certain items are prohibited from entering the tour including knives and bladed weapons, alcohol or illegal drugs, CS / pepper spray or anything which could be considered a security risk. Items found will be confiscated and illegal items will not be returned. We work in conjunction with the police to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Please do not bring these items with you. For further information click here.

I’m coming today. What do I need to know/bring?
All you need for your visit are your tickets or email booking confirmation, a camera and of course your wand! If you don’t have your wand, they are available in the Studio Shop!

Do I need to have a Souvenir Guidebook before I arrive for my visit? Is this a map of the attraction?
Our Souvenir Guidebook will help you to remember your magical experience forever. It’s full of in-depth information about the Harry Potter film series including many behind-the-scenes secrets and beautiful photography.
You do not need to purchase a Souvenir Guidebook prior to your visit, but you can pre-order to collect with your tickets on arrival. Alternatively, you can pick one up from our Studio Shop during your visit.

Is Warner Bros. Studio Tour London a theme park?
The Studio Tour isn’t a theme park and as such doesn’t feature rides or experiences of this nature. We offer visitors the ultimate opportunity to step on to authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore the behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter film series. Is there a minimum age restriction?
The Studio Tour is suitable for all ages and children aged four and under can visit for free, although they will require a ticket. All children must be accompanied by an adult (aged 16 and over).

Is there a minimum height restriction for anything in the Studio Tour?
No, everyone can enjoy the attraction irrespective of height.

Are there any photo opportunities at the Studio Tour?
Yes, there are lots of exciting photo opportunities throughout the tour to ensure that you take home an everlasting memory. You will be able to see the green screen technology that made Harry and his friends fly and have a go yourself. At the end of this experience you will have the opportunity to take your flight home with you by purchasing a souvenir photo on your chosen background.

Can I smoke whilst visiting the Studio Tour?
Please be aware that smoking or vaping is only permitted in designated areas outside of our Food Hall and in our outdoor Backlot area.

Can I shop before and after my tour?
The Studio Shop opens from 9:30am and is available to access before or after your tour.

Can I come on site simply to visit the shop?
A valid ticket for the date of your visit is required to visit the Studio Shop, as this is part of the attraction.

Am I able to avoid seeing Aragog?
Aragog is present in both the Forbidden Forest and Creature Effects area. If you would like to avoid these areas, please ask one our Interactors.

Can I bring a camera or video camera?
There are lots of exciting photo opportunities throughout the attraction to ensure you take home an everlasting memory. The taking of photographs and video footage with handheld cameras and mobile devices is allowed in most areas, apart from within the pre-show cinema and green screen areas. Please note, filming with the use of tripods and other specialist photographic equipment (such as drones) is not permitted across the site, including in exterior areas such as the car park.

Can I take a pushchair or buggy around with me?
We welcome pushchairs and buggies into the Studio Tour, as the experience is a self-guided walking tour. With this in mind, please note that buggies and pushchairs can be stored in our free cloakroom subject to available space.

Can I bring a pet to the Studio Tour?
We do not allow pets to enter the attraction and they cannot be left in vehicles for safety reasons. The nature of the attraction means that visitors cannot return to the car park until the end of their visit. Please note, visitors who attend with pets will not be permitted into the Studio Tour.
